to give a visual title to each chapter, in particular, finding a photograph that portrays the protagonist's point of view during a crucial passage of the chapter
to assign different fonts to humans and synthetics, in order to help the reader following the development of the plot
to create the book cover so as it to transmit, through sight and touch, the "television noise" effect, and, for design consistency, to realize the font for the title and the author’s name as the numbering of the chapters, in which the Harbor font is used in outline above a photograph
to print on a paper that represents the right balance between photographs’ color rendering and optimal reading weight
bind with paper thread in order to make maximum use of text and photographic elements
